For Colored Girls Who Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf is the emotion-provoking narrative of nine Black women with varying ages, careers and circumstances intertwined by hardships stemming from relationships, sexuality, financial burdens, mental health and more commonly faced by American Black women. Carried along by poetic monologues and rhythmic music, DP Demarco Plays & Film Co. provides audiences with an immersive viewing experience that captivates attention and engages the senses. The redeeming message of the play is amplified by the opportunity for attendees to interact with local organizations providing support for issues addressed in the production during the reception following or proceeding the show.
