Let It Grow is an exhibition currently on view at Wave Pool Gallery that explores the ways in which artists frame our human and plant interdependent relationships.

As part of our programming for this exhibition, we have partnered with local musicians, artists and activists Triiibe to put on a “Vibe-a-Q” and one-night art auction to raise money for their monthly Potluck for the People events.

On August 14th from 5:30 PM until 8:30 PM, the musicians and artists will teach a course on urban gardening at our Camp Washington Community Garden, host a local street sweep, and subsequent vegan potluck: demonstrating in tangible action the kind of reciprocity of care that we can learn from taking care of our living planet.

In order to assist in sustaining the ongoing monthly programming in which Triiibe provide free vegan food for Cincinnatians at a local public park, a group of artists from the Art Academy of Cincinnati, under the name of the “Non-Traditionals” will host a one-night only auction of affordable artwork made at the aforementioned potlucks, all proceeds for which will go to fund future Potlucks for the People.
