Socialist Feminism begins with the proposition that there can be no revolution without women’s liberation and no women’s liberation without revolution. The struggle for socialism must, therefore, also be the struggle for the liberation of all groups oppressed and exploited under capitalism. Few Marxists understood this idea so clearly as Rosa Luxemburg, the great theoretician and martyr of the German revolution. Come join the Cincinnati socialist community as we celebrate her life and works on January 12th in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of her assassination.
