Facilitated by Dameta Wright
The practices of tai chi and yoga offer each student complimentary paths of introspection and self-discovery. These practices combine to invite a deep sense of peace into the physical body and subtle energetic body.
This class invites students on the journey to begin to notice and use the subtle power of their breath. In our time together, students will learn:
Breathing techniques to bring focus and calm to the mind.
Yoga postures that allow the body to peacefully experience stillness.
Tai chi movement flows to improve balance and stability in the body.
How the combination of these disciplines will enrich the spirit, mind, and body.
We intend for this class to be a relaxed and supportive environment where each student feels inspired and empowered. Questions are welcome and encouraged.
This class is open to everyone, but is also suitable for beginners. No prior experience needed.
