The Civic Garden Center of Greater Cincinnati is resuming their Yoga in the Garden series in partnership with Melting Yoga this month. Join them and their wonderful instructor Nicole for a restorative yoga class the last Monday of each month. Just be sure to bring your yoga mat, and a donation if you wish (not necessary).
Class Structure:
Soft, gradual hatha yoga style sequencing - linking the breath with movement. Focused upon restorative flow and gentle yogic practices. Including varied meditation/relaxation exercises.
Intention:
Becoming aware of and easing the mind through gentle movement. Nurturing ourselves to become of better service to others. Developing compassion for self and others, supporting the power of community and philanthropy, and embracing the beauty of nature that surrounds us.
Donation-Based Giveback Opportunity:
Melting Yoga is partnering with the CGC to offer the series by donation (suggested $5 and/or 5 non-perishable foods or goods; or contribute what you are able). Please feel free to choose one or BOTH options!
Cash donations will support the local Civic Garden Center and non-perishable goods will support the current food desert existing in their neighboring community of Walnut Hills. They encourage non-perishable foods (including baby foods) but also personal-care items like toothpaste, toothbrushes, feminine care and other toiletries.
