Attend for a meaningful discussion exploring the continued barriers confronting Black women, moderated by Liz Brazile, a multifaceted journalist, writer, and editor based in Cincinnati. Brazile reports on a range of topics, including social justice issues, politics, health, pop culture, and education. A budding investigative reporter, Liz recently wrote two stand-out pieces for Rewire News, about the consequences of racial discrimination for Black patients in the mental and behavioral health system, and the poor treatment of public school students with disabilities. Outside of her journalistic body of work, Brazile has published several essays and cultural analysis pieces on Reclaiming My Time: The Blog--several of which have gone viral--since founding the platform in June 2017.
