Washington Park’s Summer Cinema Series returns with a twist – this year that features a full slate of Black Family Movies. The film lineup celebrates black heritage, journeys of triumphs and resilience, coming together, being yourself, and loving your family. 3CDC and Washington Park are partnering with Keng Enterprises, a multicultural creative marketing agency to present this year’s series.

Summer Cinema: Black Family Movie Series will feature Black-owned food truck vendors starting at 6pm, a pre-show playlist at 6:30pm, and a pre-movie chat at 8pm on select nights, with movies premiering at 9pm each week.

Summer Cinema Patrons will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing at all times while participating. PPG Paints is helping us meet social distancing requirements by painting circles on the grass to keep patrons six feet apart. One group per-circle. Once circles are full, capacity for the event is full. Patrons who are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19 are asked to stay home and join us for a movie when symptoms subside.
