bombASSbabes Session 8
BombASSbabes is a mini-series celebrating the tenacious broads of Cincinnati. The short films explore a sundry of hobbies, skills, and enthusiasms women choose to pour their creative energy into.
The hope is to expose what it means to live in tensions between vulnerable and unapologetic, tender and rooted, humble and bold, plus the millions more we call upon ourselves as we seek balance.
BombASSbabes welcomes trans, genderqueer, and non-binary people.
Devyani Padubidri channeling the rhythm of tradition.
Biz writes: why is Devyani a babe. Devyani has one of those laughs that rings through the air. She carries that positivity into every conversation she enters and you can't help but smile with her. After only our second meeting, she was already planning for when we would find time to cook together! Her babliness shows through in the way she channels dance too. I'm still trying to figure out how she can simultaneously merge flow and grace with brisk movements in the blink of an eye – it's wildly impressive!
Devyani writes: why she's a babe. Dancing embellishes my life with grace and rhythm that gives me a special ability to view this world through a different artistic lens. Through this, I breathe a special form of happiness and by virtue of this happiness I try and bring sunshine to others around me.
